Egyptians Are AMAZING And Here's Why...

My favorite civilization was the Egyptians.  They had a really cool culture! They played lots of fun games such as marbles. They also dressed cool. They wore fancy Jewelry and  they had queen Cleopatra for queen. The queen used her fashion to win over everybody to be queen. Instead of wearing two snakes on her crown she wore three and wore all the jewelry she could wear. Overall the Egyptian culture was super fun to learn about and I would really like to go there someday.

       I think the Babylonians were were the best civilization because they invented many useful gadgets and ideas that are still in circulation today. One thing they invented was calendars, a thing use very frequently in our every day to day lives. Without calendars we wouldn't be able to keep track of  of day, month, or year we we were in, resulting in a totally lost society. We also would not know how much time has passed or how much time we hypothetically have left. The Babylonians also improved up on mathematics and also invented the map and astronomy. These inventions helped us dramatically boosting our knowledge to the next level. The wheel is also a huge advance in technology that also shaped the way our society works today. The reason I value the Babylonians so much is because of their power of knowledge and innovative minds.

My favorite was babylonia, they were my favorite because they had created the 60 minute hour, and they made the 12 month calendar. Mrs.baker would appreciate the babylonia because they made the multiplication chart,and I kind like math it is not my fav subject. If the babylonia have not made the 12 month calendar now I wouldn't know how old am I, and if they didn’t make the multiplication chart now we wouldn’t know what and how to do multiplication, or maby we woudn’t know or do math.

My favorite empire to learn about was Babylonia. Why, you might ask? Well, one, because they created math, and I absolutely LOVE math (who doesn’t, am I right?). Two, because the created the calendar, and I personally, really like to know when my birthday is, or when I (finally) don’t have to go to school (!!!!!), Lastly, I think, is Babylonians created the 60 minute hour. Without it, we might had to stay in school ALL DAY LONG! But thankfully to our lovely Babylonians, we only spend most of our day in school. Yay...

We all know that out of all the civilizations the Babylonian empire was the best and my favorite. They were so cool because they had the skillz to do math and make up their own numbers for the days and months now called a calendar. I also really like math and they made up the times tables so a thank you to them. If I could back to that time I would hand them a calculator because using your brain for equations like 4,000,000 x 1,234,567, like that would be so hard and it would be so easy with a calculator. Which empire do you like the best. word count = 101.

Out of all the fantastic ancient civilizations we learned about in this unit I think that the Babylon civilization is the most important and my favorit. This is because they invented a lot of the importent systems we use today. They invented things like multiplication tables which give foundation to a lot of math related concepts. They also invented time systems like the 12 month year. We use that for a day to day tracking bases. Another Thing that is a foundation for almost anything is the 60 minute hour. Many other ancient civilizations created things similar to this but theirs was the one that stuck. Other civilizations created important thing to but the Babylonians set many foundations.
