If I won $50 in a school raffle, then I would first see what my interests are and how much they cost. For example, I have an interest in becoming a pilot for the Boeing 787 when I grow up. To become a pilot you have to learn aeronautics, physics, and mathematics. So I would want to buy some aeronautics textbooks, physics textbooks, and mathematics textbooks. Usually 1 textbook would cost $10. So I would buy 2 aeronautic textbooks, 2 physic textbooks, and 1 mathematics textbook. So, in conclusion, I would first check my interests, then check the costs, then buy. So my interest is in becoming a pilot. Textbooks help with that. Also textbooks cost about $10. Then I would see the amount and buy.

ReplyDeleteI agree that spending the money right away would be good in this situation because you are purchasing something that will help you learn and achieve that spot as a pilot. Because the textbook would cost $10, after buying the textbook, would you save the leftover $40, or spend it?
