The Cassandra Effect Lesson

How do you convince someone in power to take action on what you know is right?
In this Podcast, I learned that people will be more willing to listen to you are close to them, or know them on a personal basis. If you go up to someone you aren't familiar with, they probably wouldn't think about your concern again. If you talk to someone you know, who knows the person that is in power, then your idea will be heard. So, all you have to do is just tell someone who will tell the person that's in power. How do you think you would solve this problem?

  1. While it is more likely that a person would listen to you if you knew them on a personal basis, there is more to it than that. It would be yourself if you also resented the person with clear evidence, and instead of demanding something huge, let them work there way up to the task.

  2. I really understand what you are trying to say because I agree. I think you should think about more of the main problems in the story and add some details.I also agree with amelia of what to add on. Many people should listen and take precaution.I love the story though.
