I learned that the Cassandras curse is somewhat real in some cases but only a few people actually listened. There was one part of the podcast where they brought up spaceship explosion whee the engineers told the NASA people that there was a problem with the o rings but they didn't listen. Then it exploded. Because they didn't listen,. That is an example of Cassandra's curse.
I think that the Cassandra effect is like climate change, we need to do something now or it will effect our children and grandchildren. Imagine if they asked us, what did you do to help? What would you say, and what would you want to say? We know this is horrible and we are still not doing anything. We are still not listening to Cassandra.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you when you said, “I learned that the Cassandra's curse is somewhat real in some cases but only a few people actually listened” because few people listen and we need to find a way to change that. I like how you added an example of this as well. But, Nobody would listen to them and something bad came out of it, as you said. But, my one question to you is… What can we do to make people listen and to make them hear our voices.
