Burj Khalifa vs. CN Tower
The tower of Dubai. You may know it as the tallest building in the world. It’s actual name is Burj Khalifa. It has not always been the tallest building in the world. From 1976 to late 2007, the CN tower in Toronto, Ontario was at the top of the list. Having the height of a total 553.3 meters it outweighed all of the other buildings on the planet. But since Burj Khalifa was born, it has since been the winner. It outgrew the CN tower by 274.7 meters. If you are unable to do the math it’s 828 meters tall! That’s so close to a kilometer that whatever is trying to beat Burj Khalifa they might as well make it 1000 meters tall. Burj Khalifa has had many stunts pulled off of it. The most famous one is probably when Tom Cruise jumped off of it in his movie “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol”. If you’ve seen the movie then you probably know that it’s pretty freaking tall. So if you had the choice, would you get a picture on the glass floor of the CN Tower, or take a selfie with Burj Khalifa?
