Have you ever seen an aquarium in a mall? Well, you might think it is cool, but not until a shark infested tank cracks open. On February 26, 2010 the Dubai Mall’s Aquarium shark tank cracked and water gushed all over the mall. Surprisingly, none of the marine life that were in the tank got harmed and the tank was repaired relatively fast. The store owners around the area of the aquarium were furious because they were forced to shut down their shops for potential flooding and could not make a profit for the whole end of February.Thankfully the police showed up and evacuated the mall before anyone got hurt. How would you feel if you were in the mall at the time of the aquarium leak?
Holy cow! What surprised me most about this was that somehow they were able to stop the leak. Can't wait to hear about the tank in Japan!
