I am not a fan of politics, but ever since the presidential election started, I have been pretty involved in politics. I wanted Hilary Clinton to win, but honestly, I didn't care. They both had completely different views, but when it comes to them in general, they both had lots of down sides and some good sides. If I had a choice, I would have chosen a different candidate than them. Although I wanted Hilary Clinton to win, I don't care that Donald Trump won. I guess people who want to do something should at least get one chance to it, otherwise no one will know if that person would have been great or not so great at what they wanted to do. When it comes to the end, there is really nothing we can do to change the outcome. Who else paid extra attention to politics this year?

We can't change the outcome of this election.
Hello Everyone!
I am not a fan of politics, but ever since the presidential election started, I have been pretty involved in politics. I wanted Hilary Clinton to win, but honestly, I didn't care. They both had completely different views, but when it comes to them in general, they both had lots of down sides and some good sides. Trump?!?!
Hello everyone,
You may be happy or sad with the results of the election, but I could have been happier with the results. You probably know that Donald Trump is actually a business man and has no political experience whatsoever, and presidents have almost always had that type of experience. I do think that it is incredible that he was able to switch states that where almost always Democratic to a Republican state such as Michigan. I think that the president elect Donald Trump will surely change the country in an better or worst way i'm just not sure which.

Trump VS. Clinton
Hello everyone,
I am wondering how it was possible that Donald Trump won. I was really happy when Hillary Clinton was in the lead but when I woke up and heard that Trump won I became very disappointed. I did not like either of the candidates but I think Clinton was better. I question if Trump will be assassinated. I don't like having Trump or his wife representing our country. This was the first year that I was interested in the election because of the horrible candidates. The worst thing about this election was that someone had to win. I believe that America made a bad choice and some will regret their decision. I think that my family's life will not be better but I do not know what he is going to do.
Although I am not happy with the results we have to live with it. If Trump can't make America great again we can.

The Election of Trump, a Mystery To Be Sure.
As I try to question America's opinion on who should be, and now is the president, I have become confused. Who in their right mind would willingly vote for Mr. Donald Trump. Even as a twelve year old American citizen I have seen and had my fill of arguments about politics but I think that it is only natural that there is some amount of debate. I liked Hillary Clinton because her visions for our country were clear and they would make our country a better place. At least that is my opinion, even though America has made it clear what they wanted and I would like to show my respect for my country's opinion. A new fear is boiling inside of me, what if no more women will run for president because the first woman, Hillary Clinton didn't make it to the position of President even though she was very qualified. In conclusion I would just like to put out there that I personally think that Hillary Clinton should have been the elect of the United States.
Trump being the President of America
I think it's unbelievable to me that Donald Trump won the election.I honestly thought that Hillary Clinton was going to win. It's just shocking to me that Americans chose a person who's racist, sexist, and crazy.I think that Americans want him to be the president because they agree with the problems Donald Trump want to solve,I agree with some of the problems too.But his way of solving the problems is really bad.I think a president is a role model of how a American should be,and since Donald Trump is racist and sexist,he is not a good role model for Americans.Do you think that Donald Trump should be the president of United States?
Today, I am not proud of my country.
Today, I am disappointed in my country. Last night, America elected its next president, they chose the Republican nominee, Donald Trump. Although I find politics interesting, I STRONGLY disagree with this decision. I have a question America; what does this decision mean for muslims, women, the LGBT community, immigrants, the disabled and african americans? What does this mean for the countless people that Donald bashes each day. Why did you elect a president that treats women like objects? I don't want to live in a world where I am considered less than my male peers. It proves to me what this country is made of, the people that make up America. As children, we are taught to not be a bully, to be kind and generous, to share and not to be cocky. How are children supposed to learn those skills when a bully is our new president. Why did we do this? Well, I have a theory. Some of the people in America have a interesting view of the government. They believe that it is too controlling. That may be why this country elected a man who had no experience in politics. We went from having an african american president to a racist president (in my opinion). It affects me for the fact that I am a woman. I have to listen to a man verbally hurt women and girls. I also worry for the other people that will be hurt by this decision. Refugees, muslims, immigrants, african americans, women, the disabled and the LGBT community will be negatively affected by this man that will bully us. What has America done? On this day, I am not proud of the United State's decision. What do you think about our country's decision?
Donald Trump: I'd Say He Was a Conspiracy, But It Wasn't a Secret
Well... it happened. The dreaded, dreaded day has finally dwelled upon us and left itself standing in the midst of our sorrow, and will stay there for the next unpredictable four years. Personally, I think that even though the unthinkable happened, we are all going to be okay. If you sit for a minute and ponder America's history, the people, of any race, beliefs, and thoughts on the world have (most of the time) under the view of a 12 year old, had an astute opinion in our future. We must call to mind that the citizens do have power in the government of our nation. We can and will influence the proposal that Mr. Trump has for our country, so not everything's set the minute he blurts something out. Even though the majority of senate and government is republican, we still must have hope for the fortune of us. If you are under the impression that I am okay with all this and not freaking out than by all means, please reread the beginning of this article, and keep an open mind. America's choice is America's choice and we must respect that, but I believe we could have thought this all through a little bit more. For example, social media has had a big impact on voters and their decision, or if they even voted or not. It is natural instinct for humans to follow the bigger group, so that affected the outcome. I believe that some Americans voted for Trump because they, bless their souls, because he told them things no one has ever told us. He said things no one has ever said. Mr. Donald John Trump showed us a shiny new plaque to hang proudly on our nation's wall of presidential fame (or at least he applied), and many Americans couldn't fully see against the brilliant glare of new ideas, but if they only could, they'd see the cracks it held. My family, friends, and schoolmates will be impacted by this somehow, good or bad (I'm not fully sure.) Overall, America will change maybe not a lot, but definitely a little in terms of population, politics, rights of immigrants and possibly women, and relationship with ally countries.
