No one wants to walk up to a random pop up shop, run by a 17-year-old alone. Unless that pop up shop sells GELATO, and is run by Harrison Geller. Polpo Gelato opened up on, august 10th 2015, and it is located in New York City, on Allen Street. Harrison harvests fresh ingredients in the morning, opens the shop at noon, hand makes gelato, and closes at 10 pm. Even though the shop is only open in august, it has plenty to offer. Flavors are swapped out every day, some of them being ricotta, and “amalfi coast” (lemon sorbet in Italian). There are eight flavors on display each day, pointing to the name polpo (octopus in Italian). Despite Harrison saying his shop might not thrive, he plans to move his throne over Italian ice cream, to wear ever he goes to college. Are you willing to eat Harrison’s gelato until you explode? I sure am!
Nice! I love your question at the end, and I sure will eat all that gelato! I like how the title is kind of catchy, and how it's not too long that I want to stop reading it. Overall, good job picking the idea. Do you think gelato is much better than ice cream? I think so.

ReplyDeleteI think you did very good on this blog, but my question for you is why did you choose this person? You added a lot of great details, making me not clueless.I would totally eat this gelato, and it's much better than ice cream. also, how can you manage a gelato shop in new york city, all alone? That would be too tough for me.overall, you did good.
