The Temples in Bagan are some of the greatest religious sites in Southeast Asia. I, like many others will be working on my vocabulary in this post. There was once was over thirteen thousand of these vibrant Temples in 1287, but between natural and human causes there is about twenty-two hundred remain standing today. Buddhist Kings of this land modeled some of the temples centuries ago built to praise Buddhas. Sanctuaries like these can soar up to 50 meters. Thousands of tourist come here every year to see this spectacular sight. Can you imagine waking up and seeing the radiant sun rise over the Bay of Bengal shining ageist the holy golden temples?
