Come Visit a Super. Cool. Place!

Seriously. You need to come to the Tubbataha Reef, Philippines. It is like the coolest place ever, but before I get started, I will tell you that I would really like to work on, which is voice. Sometimes it’s not that strong, but other times it is quite strong. The Tubbataha Reef is a very interesting place. It is a National Park, which means that it is (usually) a historically important place, and it is protected by the government. It is located in the middle of the Sulu Sea, if you were wondering. I think this is a pretty awesome place, but what the real question is: do you?

  1. The Tubbataha Reef sounds awesome, I would love to go scuba diving there! Did you know that they have over 600 species of tropical reef fish, 13 dolphin and whale species, and 360 coral species. But, those amazing creature’s lives are being threatened by overfishing, debris and garbage, and a few mean people who think that they can take the topshells (which help clean the coral and feed other larger animals) and turn them into buttons, jewelry, and ornaments! I totally agree with you about the Tubbataha Reef being a pretty awesome place, it’s an international treasure. You should check out Clara’s post called Visiting Bali, she wrote about Bali, which is a really amazing place just like Tubbataha Reef.

  2. That sounds amazing Sal! It seems like so much fun!!! I wish that I could visit the Tubbataha Reef!!! Hey, did you know that in 2008, the Tubbataha Reef was dubbed one of the seven wonders of the world! Also, there have been multiple whale shark sightings. Whale sharks are very rare and can vary in size. Whale sharks can grow up to 46 feet and weigh 15 tons!!! You told me that you love the movies, so go check out my post about floating movie theaters in Thailand!!! Now i’m not sure if i want to go because i’m scared that i’m going to get squashed by a 15 ton whale shark!!! Are you still up for going????
