Angkor archaeological park is home to extraordinarily temples ruins of Angkor. You probably already knew right? Well about to take you even deeper down about Angkor. Most of the temples ruins in the Angkor archaeological park is from Khmer empire. The Khmer empire were most populated ethnic group in Cambodia. The Bayon temple, imagine this, there are 54 towers, each tower having four faces, can you imagine that? Well if you couldn’t, your in luck the Bayon temple looks just like that. The Bayon tower were built in the 12th century( 1100’s), by King Jayavarman. Next on our stop is the Angkor Wat. The Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world. The Angkor Wat combines the two basic architecture plans of the Khmer temple and the galleried temple.
