Bali is Calling You!!!

First of all, I would like to expand my writing skills by adding similes. Now let’s get to my blog!

Imagine living near a lake, you could go fishing or swimming whenever you want. What would be better than that? Uhhmm… let me think about that. How about living literally “on” the water! Well, you can in a little awesome place called Bali, Indonesia. Besides the homes on the water, Bali has many more interesting attractions. One of them is Mount Agung. Mount Agung is an active volcano, so watch out when it erupts unless  you want to be as hot as a ghost pepper! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to ride through a safari on an elephants back? Well stop your wondering and do it at Bali Safari and Marine Park! Here you can feed the animals, ride the animals, and even eat right next to them, at the parks wonderful restaurant! This is a place where you and your family can be as wild as the animals themselves. Want to “monkey” around with your family. Just visit the Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary! You can learn about, feed, and observe the monkeys in the forest. After a long day of exploring Bali’s many attractions, you and your family are tired. Where are you going to stay? Why not stay at Amankila, a cliffside, 5 star luxury resort. This resort has a private white-sand beach perfect for sandcastles! The beach borders the North Pacific Ocean. But who wants to swim in the ocean when the resort has a special three level pool! The pool is as cool as an iceberg, perfect for getting out of Bali’s hot and humid weather. All the suites are elevated so you can see all of the amazing views, of the ocean and surrounding areas right from your bedroom. This resort only has 34 rooms so make your reservations quickly. Now I ask you, would you like to visit Bali, because I certainly would?

One Fun Fact for my Readers: If you look at Bali on a map it looks like a duck's head or a fish depending on how you see it!!!!!

  1. Marie, I love how you talked about all the other places more than besides the beaches. Did you know that most of the temples were built on volcanoes, weird right? You should probably go read Clara V’s post because you both kind had some of the same ideas. She also talked the religions, and also the forests same as you did. You added a lot of descriptive details about the certain places. You also added a lot of personality into the blog as well. Good work!

  2. I would love to visit Bali! It seems like a really fun and beautiful place with a lot of amazing attractions. Did you know that there’s even a black sand beach there? Lovina Beach is a beach that’s located in northern Bali. It’s covered in black sand that was originally the cooled lava from the volcano Mt. Agung. There are also thermal hot springs that were created from the volcanic water in the village. Many tourists like to visit this beach to try to spot the dolphins at sunrise as well. I think that you should check out Kyle Knapp’s post about the Krabi Province of Thailand because even though Thailand and Indonesia are two different places, there are many gorgeous beaches in both countries.
