If I went to India I would want to ride an elephant! Elephants are a main part of transportation in India and a big part of Indian culture. I think it would be absolutely amazing to be walking down a street in India and have an elephant walking down the street too. Elephants often take part in parades by leading them and carrying people or items that are the main part in the festival. Like in Esala Perahera elephants carry the golden casket that is said to hold Buddha’s Tooth. Elephant also are great transportation in tours of rugged areas. Since the elephant are adapted to the environments they can go where cars can’t. Besides, wouldn’t it be some much more exciting if you rode an elephant instead of in a car!
