Black Stripes, and White Fur. What am I? (India.)

Getting to India in a train may not seem so bad, but you’ll learn that it can be very unsettling. Have you ever been in an Indian train? It’s cramped, and unless you have first class tickets, you won’t be able to sleep on a comfy bed. Also, there’s that disturbing thought of having to poop in a hole that leads to...outside, and that fact about sitting on top of a train when it’s crowded. (Just hope its not crowded when you visit.)

Enough of that, let's talk about animals. In India, there are those who are afraid of tigers, but their are also those who admire these beautiful cats. In all honestly I would be scared to face these big animals. I mean, could you sleep at night knowing there’s a possibility of being mauled!? I’m not trying to ruin your trip to India though, that only happens in certain areas.(Nervous laugh.) Lately in one of India’s zoos, a rare white tiger had been discovered dead after being bitten by a black cobra (awww!!!), so not only are their deadly tigers, but poisonous snakes. Of course I could type about how some Indian cultures worship snakes, but I don’t feel like it. (Too lazy.)

Hmmm….Okay, how about we talk about the temple of Kari Mata. Legend has it in the 1400’s a terrible sickness had accrued, and taken many children lives. (That is a scary thought.) The temple was made from the pleas of parents requesting to Kari Mata to reincarnate their children. Strangely enough they believe that Karimata did so in the form of rats, so the temple holds many of these critters, and actually worship them. (Interesting.)

I tried to end this with a positive note, but that didn’t happen. Hope you enjoyed this!
