Daulat ki chaat is commonly called God’s own street food. this might seem like a weird name (to me it is) but it sounds really good. It’s sweetened milk, whisked for, hours. it has a little saffron and silver leaf on the top. It gets set outside in the cold, winter nights of india and in the morning, it should look like this;
It gets topped with pistachios and mawa (which is a solid evaporated milk) and is delicious. I have never had it, but lots of people in India like it. Apparently, it’s like lemon merangin. It sounds really good and I would love to have some. Would you like to try it?
