Maldivian cuisine
The maldivian cuisine is the cuisine of the Nation of Maldives. The traditional cuisine of Maldivians is based on three main food items: coconuts, fish, and starches. These are the main foods of Maldives. The coconuts are used for coconut milk or they can be used as coconut oil in dishes that are deep fried. Coconut Milk is the main ingredient in many Maldivian dishes. The fish is mainy tuna and is either dry or fresh. They are usually eaten boiled or processed. They normally will have the tuna as pieces or shavings. The starches are mainly rice, and usually eaten or grounded into flour. Are these foods popular in your home?
