Naan is traditionally made with an oven or tandoor. A tandoor is practically a clay oven. The word Naan comes from the word bread in Persian which has a very long history.(In Hinduइतिहास). This recipe involves mixing white flour with salt, a yeast culture, and some yogurt to make a smooth, soft dough. The dough is kneaded for a few minutes, then set aside to rise for a few hours.
