Ko Pha-Ngan is an island in southeast Asia that is known for its moon parties. If you love solitude beaches you should totally head over! Of course, you’re going to have to travel when the new moon or half moon isn’t present because it’s easier to get a room, prices are reasonable, and there are far less people on the island.

Covered with breathtaking bays, coves, inlets, and beaches, Ko Pha-Ngan is the solitary place to go. Almost 90% of the gulf isle is comprised of unspoiled tropical forest. Though protected by the national park and the majority of the forest is not open to exploration. Some short but challenging hikes await. An example would be Nam Tok Phaeng, it’s a beautiful waterfall that comes in full spate between the months of October to January.
