Elephant Spa
Guruvayur, India is the best place for elephants. An elephant camp in Guruvayur called Punnathur Kotta Elephant Yard houses 58 elephants and covers 11.5 acres of land. Elephants are offerings at this camp which are made to the Guruvayur Temple. They also train for temple rituals and sessions.
Not only is this an elephant camp, but it is also an elephant spa. This is an annual event where elephants get pampered for a whole day during the month of July. The spa includes cleaning, hosing, scrubbing, and massaging of the elephants. On top of that, the spa is a popular destination for tourists. The main reason for this spa is that July is the month of rejuvenation in the country.
I think that that's the coolest thing. I'd bet it is the best money maker in the world. How do they get on and off?
