Capsule Hotels; the New Japanese Hotel Bargain?

Have you ever complained to your mom that your room was too small? Have you ever wished that you lived in the future with all those cool space hotel rooms? Well, believe it or not, those two are related in the country of Japan. They have a certain philosophy that if they create futuristic looking hotels that are clean, crisp and sharp, will have an appeal  to people. Especially to college students. They lower the prices much more than the normal hotel. The Japanese people would like to modernize their country a little bit more. They are trying for cleaner air and more safe efficient energy. These hotels could be the answer. Would you spend the night in a very, very small hotel?  What would you do if you were a college student and you needed somewhere to sleep for a cheap price?

  1. As nice as the Capsule Hotel looks, I don’t think I would stay there considering how small it is. It costs $2,500 to $4,500 per night to stay in the Capsule Hotel. A website that I found some research on, recommended that people wear earplugs to sleep. If they recommend earplugs it must mean it’s pretty loud because of the sleeping capsules being so close together. The website also stated that women aren’t often welcome into Capsule Hotels for unknown/safety reasons! I don’t think that some of these reasons are fair enough to stay at the Capsule Hotel. If you want to try to check out Jonah’s blog, it’s similar to yours.
