Tokyo?

If I had the chance to go to Tokyo would I go? I had to ponder this question for a few minutes. Would it be worth to learn about all of their interesting culture for some of the down sides? I can imagine the vehement sounds and the odoriferous smells . I can recollect the pushing and shoving of the trains and that would be very uncomfortable. But I feel like it would be possible to get a hotel in a place where everything you want to visit is within walking distance. I imagine that the pungent scent of the food wouldn't be that bad although considering I don't like spicy it might be a problem. If I were to go I would visit the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden because it seems very alluring. I have mix feelings about the option of going to Tokyo, but I can't deny  that the idea seems captivating. Would you want to visit Tokyo?

  1. I think going to Tokyo would be really fun, and it would definitely be a very interesting experience. I would be a bit scared to travel there alone though, considering the fact that it’s a foreign country and there’s a WHOLE lot of people there. Did you know that about half of Tokyo’s population travels by train? I couldn't imagine trying to get on or off a train there. In fact, because traveling on trains can be so dangerous, some subway lines are introducing women-only passenger cars. That way, women can travel more safely through the city. I really liked your post, and I think that you would really enjoy reading Marie’s post about riding an over crowded train in Japan because you both wrote/mentioned the crowded trains of Tokyo.

  2. I’ve got to agree Bella, it would be a hard choice to make. Tokyo seems hard seems hard to visit because of how crowded it is. I read that about 13.35 million people live in Tokyo to this day! Still how can anyone pass up experiencing the unique culture. Mimi’s post Your Tokyo Trip Guide Line is very similar to yours, were you both debate the pros and cons of traveling to Tokyo. Even with these cons I still say never pass up an opportunity.
