There is three kinds of festivals in Afghanistan: traditional, national and religious. Nauroz is a traditional new year celebration, that is between January and March. It is one of the largest festivals in Afghanistan , and it’s mostly celebrated in a famous area called Mazar e Sharif where it’s known as Gul e Surkh. In this festival farmers dance, sing and express their joy and gratitude for the abundant produce .
I think this festival is a great way for people to bound and celebrate the New Year it shows the identity and the costumes of Afghan people, and its reflect their culture during the yearly ritual that they use to practice every Nauroz celebration.
