Why Is There a Goat On My Plate?


I know food is unique and all, but why is it sometimes just plain disgusting?  Let’s just say if you went to South Asia and ate something (just for fun), you could end up eating blood, intestines, or eggs of an animal you wouldn't imagine eating.  The foods I found the most baffling were Bhunni from Garhwal and Red Ants Chutney in Chhattisgarh because who is crazy enough to enjoy a plate of the liver, stomach, intestines and blood of a goat (Bhunni) or a dip made of dried red ants mixed with their eggs (Red Ants Chutney)?  The thing that I also think is super bizarre is that those who've tasted blood find it quite appetizing.  Who agrees that this is outrageous?
