TURN UP INDIA STYLE

Out of those countries in South Asia, I would like to visit India the most. The reason I chose India is because I was looking online and I saw lots of delicious foods, and some awesome festivals. There are many different foods in India such as kofta, khichdi, and kheer. The one that I thought would taste the best was a dish called Litti chokha. It’s a baked salted wheat flour cake filled with sattu (baked chickpea flour) and some special spices. Of all the festivals I looked at, the coolest of them all was a festival called Holi, where people celebrate the victories of good over evil by throwing colored powder and water all over each other while they party all day.

  3. The festivals sound really fun. I would enjoy going to that festival. The only reason I wouldn’t go to India for a festival like that is because the country itself is packed full of people and it is very hard to find your way around there. Along with the negative of having a lot of people, there is also a positive, which is that it must be easier to make new friends with all those people. Besides Holi, another famous festival in India is Onam, which is one of the 8 most popular festivals of India. I think you should look at Jackie’s post because Jackie also talks about food in India.
