The Dashain festival is the biggest and longest festival in Nepal. It is celebrated because of their victory of good over evil. Some things they do are worship, feast and get new clothes. The Nepali people sometimes color their rice and curds with abir to make it red and more colorful. They believe that you have to go on a swing at least one time to take away ill feelings and replace it with new ones. I think it would be fun to go to the Dashain festival because it would be fun to be with your family and celebrate it. Would you like to go to the Dashain festival?
