Nepal
holds some interesting facts. For example, Nepal has the only national
flag that isn't a square or rectangle. The only living goddess in the
world is called Kumari. She is believed to have earthly manifestations of divine female energy, and incarnations of the goddess known as Taleju.
Now, you should know that the highest mountain on Earth is Mount
Everest. This mountain is found in Nepal, reaching 8,850m tall. How
about instead of tall lets talk about short. Chandra Bahadur Dangi is
the worlds shortest man reaching a height of 54.6cm. You will find him
on the picture below. A different subject includes these numbers, 42
hours and 35 minutes. This is the world record for the longest
handshake. Pretty impressive if I
don't say so myself. Speaking of hands did you know that the left hand
must never be used for eating? Imagine that for people who are left
handed! A popular fast food dish in Nepal is a type of dumpling called
Momo. I was surprised to find that Nepal was once named as the weed
Capital. You know how we greet people by saying "hi" or by shaking hands? In Nepal people clasp their hands together and say "Namaste" because this means "I see the god in you." Pretty cool huh? Can you find anything to top of these facts?
