Bizarre or exotic?

These foods are actually Indian delicacy's, at first I thought they were more like Chinese, and Mongolian foods, because the Chinese sometimes eat dog meat.
jadoh
Jadoh is a rice dish cooked with pig, or chicken blood entrails and intestines. It is popular with Jainta tribes in North East India.
Doh khlieh
A extremely strange salad, it consists of onion, pork, and steamed pig brain. This salad is usually eaten in North-eastern state of India.
Frog LegsDog meat
Frog legs and dog meat! Dog meat is considered a delicacy in tribal communities. Frog legs are eaten in Sikkim and are considered to have medicinal values, can cure dysentery, and other stomach ailments. Think about it, which food do you find the most disgusting, the most interesting, or which food would you rather eat?

  1. I think that frog legs are the most disgusting food that I would rather not eat. However, I understand that these tribes don't care about dog meat the same way we don't care about poultry or pork that we eat. They grow up eating it from the very childhood, so this is not disgusting to them. Actually, frog legs are considered to be a delicacy in many countries, including France. By the way, Lisa you might find Kyle's post interesting, because he wrote about more bizarre food!

  2. Great job Elizabeth! I loved it! Although, I feel horrible that they eat dogs, but I would do it too if I had to. I just couldn't imagine eating my own dog! But the frogs!? Nasty! Did you know that many people enjoy devouring frog legs that they actually have been going extinct? For example, Europeans alone consumed roughly 120 million frogs per year in the 1990's. First of all, people they can't be that good! Second, just stop, PLEASE! I suggest you read Loe A’s post because it is about more Indian food just like yours! In the end, I might think some foods there are disgusting but you never know, it just might be really scrumptious!
