Ancient Greeks and Athena still not as good as the Norse but it'll do.

Personally my favorite goddess of Greek Mythology is Athena. Athena was the goddess of wisdom, war, the industry, justice and skill. Athena came out of Zeus’s forehead, so technically, Athena is a headache but she was also Zeus’s favorite child. She was fierce and brave in battle but, only fights to protect the state and home from outside enemies. She invented the Bridle, which permitted man to tame horses, the trumpet, the flute, the pot, the rake, the plow, the yoke, the ship and the chariot.
