Medusa was not always the hideous creature with snake hair and green skin. She used to be a beautiful young girl that was the priestess of Athena. Medusa forgot her vows and in return the rage of Athena turned her into a monster. Every lock of hair turned into a venomous snake and also her skin turned green. With her new form Medusa could also turn people to stone with her stare. Do you think Athena should have done such a thing?
That is very interesting Ashia I never knew that Medusa was a beautiful young princess I always thought that she was mindless beast that turned people to stone when they looked at her but I did know that perseus cut of medusa head using his polished shield then brought the head in a burlap bag and headed home. I wonder if that really happened ?
