Let the Games Begin!
Hello, welcome to the world of Greek history.Today’s lesson is the Olympics.The Olympic games were held in honor of Zeus,they were held in Olympia,a rural site in the western Peloponnesos.All the people that came to the Olympic games shared the same religious beliefs and spoke the same language.All the competitors or participants were male citizens from all over the world.Well that’s all kids see you next time.Would you like to be in the Olympic games?

Of course Syed, the Olympic Games were exciting and fun to watch. But I did not know they were held in a rural area and in honor of Zeus. But I forgot. Where is Peloponnesos? It would be nice if you tell me. Can you tell me more about the Olympics?
ReplyDeleteNo, for many reasons. Mainly I really like my life and I dont want to give it up for the amusement of others. About your post, I really liked it. We did the same topic, and we also had the same question. Now here is my question for you, would you like to watch the olympics?
ReplyDeleteIts kind of awkward and cool that everyone believed the same thing at the Olympics and spoke the same language. Its nice that they tried to honor the god (even if there fake). I would want to be in the Olympics now if i get a gold medal i would sell it for $. who else wants to be in the Olympics.
ReplyDeleteNo that would be weird and i'm a girl so. I think that explains itself so yeah. Why did you call us kids we are probably as old as you. I think the Olympic are cool because they are based off of the original Olympics. Would you be in the Olympics.
