The world got the Olympics from the Greeks. There are many things that we were taught from them. They have had war heroes that had expanded their land. Athens is capital of Greece. The Greek cities had to fight the Persian empire. One of the cities of Greece is Olympia. The ancient Olympic games were played there. Other countries took the Greeks religion of the gods and made it different. The Roman’s did this when they invaded Greece. Would you want to live in this time period?
