Greece was surrounded by the Mediterranean sea. There were three seas inside of the Mediterranean sea. The Aegean sea, the Ionian sea and the sea of Crete. There are over 2,000 islands belonging to Greece. the largest one is Crete. A lot of Greece is mountainous. The flat land is rare, but is great for farming. However many farmers raised sheep and olive trees. There were a lot of olive trees. If you live in Greece how would you farm?
