Ancient Greece has lots of cool works of art and architecture. One of my favorite types of design is the Corinthian order of architecture. This design is usually on big tall pillars holding up buildings and temples. Corinthian style is used in the Greek world, but often seen on Roman temples. Its capital is very elaborate and decorated with acanthus leaves. The designs I think are very cool and would be hard to make. What do you think the coolest thing about Greece is?!
I can agree, I think the art is beautiful. If you're important they build a statue in your honor! They would have democracy and money just like us. They sell things, and vote. Did you know after Alexander the great died they made a statue in honor. Would you like a statue in your honor?

DeleteJacob I agree that Greek architecture is one coolest things about the Greeks. I think the coolest things about Greece would be the kinds of art and the the temples they made. I think making those temples and buildings would be very hard and a long time to make. If you could see the ancient temples of Greece would you?
ReplyDeleteI agree that Greece has many things to enjoy. Nice topic it really was “COOLNESS!!” Yeah, the Corinthian style is the best, but the pillars in general are great. It must have taken a lot of technique to sculpt those out of stone. Same thing with their pictures and sculptures, you know the ones...What do you think it would be like growing up in Greece?
