A lot of people don’t realize this, but you make a lot of choices in shopping. Does this dress look nice, or is the other one better? Should I get tickets for the game this Saturday, or next Friday? Should I get two floral shirts for the price of one or get that nice dress for the same price? Everything consists of choices, and we make them without even realizing it!
One time, we went to the mall with my friend, and we went into this cozy looking tea shop. I ordered a sweet chamomile tea, and they said it would be up in a few minutes, since it was freshly made. We hung out there for a little, waiting for it to be done. After about 10 minutes, I started getting impatient. I came up to the counter and asked where my tea was, and apparently they didn't even place my order in the first place!!! Needless to say I walked out of that shop and into Crumbs Cupcakes faster than you can say ‘chai’.
My point is, I made my choice to go into a different store and not wait for my tea anymore. Of course, I was disappointed that I didn't get a nice cup of tea, but I was extremely irritated. Next time I go to that mall, I will definitely go there again and make sure they actually place my order! My question to you is, how many choices do you think you make in a day? How do they affect you later on in the day or in life?
If you do go there again, let them know what happened the last time as you are placing your order...see what happens!
