Needs or Wants? The thirst of economics.

Hei venner!
(That is hello friends in Norwegian)

As a fellow consumer, I know making choices can be difficult. We don't know what we need and what we want. For example you just went out running and your thirsty, So you go into a restaurant to get some water. A water bottle is say $1.00, but you see a chocolate milkshake is $1.25. You want that milkshake for an extra $0.25 but you need the water to help refuel you. That is an example of a pretty difficult choice. You know you need the water and how you want the milkshake. So what would you choose? Need or want?

  2. Now you've made me hungry for milkshakes. I'm not sure I understand what your getting at. I know you mean to say that we choose what we want instead of what need. I want to know if there is any deeper meaning to this paragraph. AGAIN WHY make me suffer from this shake story?
