So many choices

Dear Fellow Classmates,

The definition of a choice is: an act of selecting or making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities.
When I hear the word choices, I think of how many decisions you have to make in your life and how some decisions are more difficult than others. Pretend that you like a shirt, but someone comes along with a different shirt that you also like, however you don't have enough money to purchase both of them. This causes you to have to make a decision regarding which shirt you like the most. This is called, making a choice.

Another example of choices, is when my parents remind my sister and I that there will be consequences for our behavior. They've advised us that if we do not do well in school or follow their instructions, that we will not be allowed to hang out with our friends, play sports and use our cell phones. However, if we make good choices we will be allowed to do these things.

A final example of a choice, is when you like someone at school, but they like someone else. You now have to make the choice to move on and respect their decision or allow yourself to become jealous or angry towards the person he/she chooses to be with, which is such a waste of energy.
Fellow classmates,I’ve given you three examples of making choices. I hope you have been making good choices and if you haven’t you can always make better choices starting tomorrow.

  1. Devin I agree with you we use choices all the time in life. Have you ever made a choice that ended up really bad? Choice is very important in our school and at home. If we didn't have a choice we all could be in great danger. Devin you explained very well, I like your little picture.

  2. I really liked how you wrote about, how you listed three types of choices it was a good idea. I agree with you Devin we make so many choices in life. That's of the things we do everyday in life. We don’t always make the right choices though.
