Toy Story of Terror

When I was younger, my parents bought me a Barbie car from Toys R Us.  I asked my mom and dad to get a remote control Barbie car for Christmas. I loved to play with it a lot especially with friends or cousins. One night after I was asleep I heard a bunch of weird noises coming from my closet and that woke me up. As I walked over to the closet I listened for more noises but they stopped, so I decided to go back to bed. I woke up  again by the same noises and then I started to get creeped out.  I got out of bed and approached the closet, turned the lights on, and opened the door, then I saw a bright pink Barbie car moving around by itself. I managed to let out  a  scream/ donkey noise, then I took a deep breath walked over to the car, picked it up and I realized it has an on/off switch that people barely notice because its tiny and it blends in with the car.  As soon as I knew that a ghost wasn’t controlling the car, I went back to bed. The economic cost of this story is that I decided to choose a toy that used batteries and had a switch. If the toy was just a stuffed animal I would've never been scared instead I forgot to turn the switch of and the toys battery kept it running. Maybe we should have less toys with batteries. Have you ever had a toy scare you?

  1. We had this remote controlled monster truck, and we played with it everyday. This one didn't have an on/off switch though, so we didn't know what was happening. It would make strange noises by itself without us even touching it. We would lock it up in the bathroom at night so it doesn't wake us up. Do you think that car was a waste of money and time?

    1. I don't think the car was a waste of money nor time. It's just sometimes I can be kinda forgetful, like I forget to turn the lights of in the house somewhere or I leave a TV on sometimes, so yeah. I think it's funny that you would lock the car in the bathroom too.:)

  5. I love Barbie! I have almost all of the movies made. People say that I'm too old for Barbie and that it is for baby's only, but I don't care I love Barbie anyway. Barbie is something that keeps me entertained and happy. One time I went to a Rodeo and I rode a sheep and my mom said that if I did that I could get any Barbie movie I want.
